Richard Veit
Richard Veit, the managing partner and founder of BRANDWAY, is a brand and management consultant who has worked for Interbrand, one of the world’s leading brand consulting firms, for almost 25 years of his professional life. He founded and has managed the Hamburg office of Interbrand with a staff of up to 40 employees and handled a wide variety of national and international accounts, both in B2B and B2C client environments.
During his time with Interbrand he has served clients such as Unilever, Philips, GE, Bayer, Merck, Vattenfall, Sandvik, Lufthansa, Volkswagen, DMK, JTI and many more. Besides his managing, consulting and supervisory role, since the 90s Richard has been developing one of the largest brand naming practices throughout Interbrand worldwide. In the first decade of the new millennium he successfully built up a Consumer Packaged Goods Practice and a Corporate Branding unit, working for major clients in Germany as well as in eastern and northern Europe.
In January 2014, Richard was promoted to Chief Client Officer of Interbrand CEE. In his new role he acquired and has led major client accounts, especially in northern Europe.
Before his long-standing engagement with Interbrand, Richard worked at SIAR (later SIAR-Bossard) International Management Consultants, for clients in Sweden, Finland, Germany and Switzerland (1986-1991). It was in this context that he initiated a cooperation between SIAR and Interbrand in London. As a result SIAR and Interbrand were able to join forces to assist clients in strategic branding tasks such as Pripps, Hartwall and Unicef.
Prior to starting his career as a management consultant, Richard studied Business Administration at Lund’s University in Sweden.
